The Escorts - 3 Down 4 To Go

1.Disrespect Can Wreck
2.Let's Make Love (At Home Sometime)
3.Corruption (Man's Self Destruction)
4.We've Gone Too Far To End It Now
5.Brother
6.I Only Have Eyes For You
7.Shoo Nough, The
8.La La (Means I Love You)
9.Within Without
10.I Can't Stand (To See You Cry)
A great album of sweet soul -- and one recorded by a bunch of prisoners at the Rahway Correctional Facility! This was the group's second album, and by this point, three of the members had left prison -- hence the "3 Down, 4 To Go" title -- but that change in status doesn't stop the group from being as great as they are on their debut -- and as before, George Kerr produced the set, and gives the whole thing a sweet New Jersey harmony soul sound!

Damn the Escorts Doc!!Well the most obvious stuff on here is the soulful love songs like Let's make love at home sometime, which according to many old headz was a blue light special, just listen and imagine and you can tell why!!That was a pantey dropper!!Only have eyes was straight classic in fat it was a panty dropper too the difference is this one topped the charts because it was a panty dropper for all cultures watch a lotot the 70's movies and you will definetly hear this one!! Were they the originators of this song it seems like I've hard this song for an eternity?La La means I love you wasn't a bad rendition of the Delfonics piece!! There was good uptempo stuf as well but these were the cuts that stood out to me!!Thanks Dr. Ok

Just like the last several posts...I already have this from you. I haven't been d/l ing because of that reason ....but I still try and drop a line or two. Thanks again for this.

BTW....There's something wrong about a group of prisoners doing love songs.....If you catch my drift....:(

Thanks for this Drok, I don't have a lot of time to listen to new music at the mo, but will grab this later. @Ron Art, reminds me of a CD I heard years ago, recordings of chain gangs of prisoners and the simple soul music they sung that kept them going....deep.

Word)))) Brother Cosmos is a really smart dude))) why haven't I figured this idea out myself, hahah. Dr, you see, everything can be fixed, I hope this rule will help to establish that long-awaited connection with the contributor and us, leechers))) Also, probably this rule is the first step to some serious development of the blog, who knows. Dr - just do not leave blogging cuz U can happen to sign history)) I only worry that most of the posts U did lately and many of them in December are re-ups....

Extremely interesting. Most people are familiar with their debut album I like many others never were exposed to what happened after it. Thanks to the Doctor that's been cured. :-)

I'm so impressed with all the great stuff I'm finding out about I didn't know Doc and I thought my old ass knew everything! LOL

Thank you once again so much.
