For as long as I live I'll never forget, taking my allowance, and strolling up to the local record store...to see whats new.
My family was lower middle class, however between my Mother and Grandmother, they made sure that I got most of the records I wanted.
And as I recall if there was something I didn't get/have, then most likely my friend(s) would pick up what I didn't have that way we could both make copies of what the other one had bought.
Peer 2 Peer...this is the way that it has always been, today is no different.
I'm still dubbing stuff for everyone around me, if you need something you cannot find, most friends and family will ask me. I charge nothing for my service, not even for the blank disc.
I give mixed Cd's to my customers, where I work...FREE OF CHARGE!
I am currently on my third rebuild of my music collection, as all I had collected from my childhood was stolen.
I now own about 12,000 records on Vinyl, some I have posted here, along with thousands of tapes and Cd's.
I'll admit the Internet has made it a whole lot easier to d/l and share music of all genres, and people are gonna do just that.
I see that a lot of distributors have lowered the price of albums today from what used to be $17.99 now you can find new releases from as low as $7.99, and if I d/l something and I like it , and I am able to find it locally, I will purchase it, and you all should do the same..

THIS BLOG IS A TESTIMONY OF WHO I AM!
As an avid music lover, and a starving artist myself, I understand.
But I infringe no copy rite laws, by sharing what may be hard to find with friends. I take no credit for other artists releases.
I save space on my hard drive, and choose to share the link.
IF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY YOUR ALBUM BEING POSTED ON THIS BLOG PLEASE E-MAIL ME AND I WILL REMOVE IT!!!!
