Hard to find and funky too -- just the right kind of compilation for your ears! The set's a smoking batch of 16 obscure funky 45s -- a number of which have had a relatively strong second showing in the recent underground, thanks to stocks of clean copies that never sold back in the 70s, but which have been rediscovered and redistributed by funky collectors worldwide! There's no main unifying theme to the set -- save for all-out funky tunes that are linked together in their love of heavy drums, wicked guitar, and burning basslines. Modern funkster Carlo Coupe compiled the set himself -- and titles include "The Whole Thang" by Big Barney, "Sock It To Me" by The Deacons, "Spead" by Soul Partners, "Music Slave" by Jade, "Moon Walk" by King Solomon, "Groove In" by Seven Souls, "Moving World" by Creative Funk, "Baby Don't Leave Me" by Jerry Washington, "Music, I Like It" by Benny Sharp & The Sharpies, "Won't Nobody Listen" by Black Haze, "Here Comes The Streaker" by High Voltage, and "Every Day People" by Caprells.
