Throwback...
1988
A1Freaky Tales: The Saga Continues (10:24) A2Freaky Tales (Bonus Bass Mix) (1:30) B1 Mack Attack (5:50) B2 Freaky Tales Part II (Instrumental) (9:06)
I used to have it , but it was stolen, and I prooly would have never sold it , I really miss having this , I recall being so damm stoked when I got it.
Thanks for the memories Dr. Ok but I have to tell you I never liked Too Short in my honest opinion this guy sold more bogus ass albums then needed!!I do credit him for staying consistent but he never moved me!!!
well, I played Life Is.. til the shit fell apart, I'd never call Todd a great artist/emcee, but his beats were always bangin (for the time). after Short Dog Is In The House came out was pretty much the end of the road for me and Too Short , untill album no 10 came out "Gettin It" and it's still a classic other than all that and Born To Mack (and a wee bit of the 75 Girls stuff) I've never been that taken back by his work.
Yeah I did like the Ghetto but like you said mostly the music!!Coming up as a battle rapper m.c.'s like that disgusted me!! When I matured it was the lyrics that were saying something that moved me so you can imagine why he never moved me!!!I just kept seeing this cat pop up with albums after albums and I said damn this guy must be pushing heavy wieght cause them albums aint moving!! Too Short was part of a hip hop world that had expanded so the west coast was definetly in the house by then, however thank god for freedom in hip hop huh!!!
